SAGI ACADEMY LIMITED is the "data controller" responsible for your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16921727, with its registered office at Office 16114, 182–184 High Street North, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom.
For anything about this policy or your data, email support@sagi.academy.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through sagi.academy and our private Discord community, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and with the EU GDPR where it applies to visitors in the European Economic Area.
Our payment partner Stripe confirms to us that a payment succeeded and tells us which plan was bought, the email address used, and the last four digits and brand of the card. Your full card number is entered on Stripe's secure checkout and is never transmitted to or stored by us. Stripe also processes technical and device information to detect fraud, under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Under data protection law we need a "legal basis" for each use of your data. Ours are:
| What we do | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Deliver your Discord access and run your plan | Name, email, plan, Discord username | Contract — necessary to give you what you paid for |
| Answer your enquiries and provide support | Name, email, message, chat and WhatsApp content | Contract, or legitimate interests in responding to enquiries |
| Keep records of sales for tax and accounting | Name, email, transaction details | Legal obligation — UK tax and company law |
| Send newsletters and academy updates | Email address | Consent — withdraw any time via the unsubscribe link |
| Analytics, heatmaps and session recordings | Device and usage data, IP address | Consent — via the cookie banner |
| Keep the site secure and prevent fraud or abuse | IP address, device and usage data | Legitimate interests — protecting our service and members |
| Enforce our terms and handle disputes | Account, purchase and communication records | Legitimate interests, or legal claims |

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the site, and — only with your consent — cookies for analytics and live chat.
You choose your preferences in the cookie banner when you first visit, and you can change them at any time. Blocking non-essential cookies does not stop you using the site or buying a plan.
Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business. Each is bound to protect it and to use it only on our instructions.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision covering the receiving country.
You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email support@sagi.academy. We respond within one month. Exercising your rights is free, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — we would like the chance to fix it.
You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
If you are in the EEA, you may instead complain to the data protection authority in your country.
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we limit access to personal data to people who need it to do their job. Payment card data never reaches our systems.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the ICO as the law requires.
Our service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects you, we will make that clear on the site.

Some are needed to run the site. Others help us see how pages are used and power our live chat — those are only set if you agree. Read our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
Required for the site to work, including remembering this choice. Always on.
